It will not only have Agust D’s concert, but will also feature BTS members RM, Jimin and Jungkook.
The BTS star also shared a video message for his fans as he announced the theatrical release of his concert film. He said, “It’s been a while and I’m back with a video to share some very special news with our dear ARMY. Do you remember Suga Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ … the finale to my solo tour last summer? The D-Day tour was so meaningful because it told the story of my journey as both Suga and Agust D. The emotions I felt during the finale are still so vivid, as it was the last concert of the tour. And now, that very D-Day the final concert will be released in theaters worldwide!”
This is not the first film project for Suga. He treated fans to a solo documentary earlier in 2023 ‘Suga: Road to D-Day’.
The concert film will be released in theatres & IMAX on April 10 & 13 worldwide. The tickets for the concert film will go on sale from March 12 at SugaTheMovie.com. The website will give out information of all the theatres that will screen the film.
ARMYs are in for a treat as the film will have performances by RM, Jimin and Jung Kook as well. Suga’s ‘Agust D tour’ followed his solo debut debut album ‘D-day’ and hit 10 cities with a total of 25 shows.
While six members of the wildly popular group are currently serving in the South Korean ARMY as active soldiers, Suga has been exempted from military duties owing to a soldier injury; however, he joined the duty as a social service agent.
