Kim Taehyung aka V of BTS created a fan frenzy as he revealed his Swiftie side on Instagram. While Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is the talk of the town, even V could not resist joining the fans.
BTS ARMY and Swifties were in for a sweet surprise as V revealed his musical recommendation on social media. Taking to his Instagram account, V shared a story mentioning Taylor Swift’s latest album. The BTS singer, who is currently away for his military duties, posted a snippet of Swift’s track in collaboration with Post Malone, ‘Fortnight’.
‘Fortnight’ is inaugural and headlining track of pop singer’s 11th studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. Swift recently unveiled the music video for the song featuring Post Malone. Talking about the music video of the song, the 14-time Grammy winner wrote on her Instagram, “When I was writing the ‘Fortnight’ music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music.... this video turned out to be perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it.”
Taylor Swift dropped her latest album, that she announced at the Grammys, on April 19. The album has 16 tracks including 4 bonus tracks. Since its release, the album has become the fastest-streaming album of 2024 and the first to get more than 300 million streams within 24 hours on Spotify.
Accompanying the TTPD, the 34-year-old singer also revealed 'The Anthology,' a 15-song companion piece to her album. ‘The Anthology’, released two hours after the initial album, features 15 more songs.
The BTS star is currently serving in South Korean military in the Special Forces. The singer had released his debut solo album, ‘Layover’, before his military enlistment. He recently released a new single, ‘FRI(END)S’, along with a music video.
