BTS ARMY got a sweet surprise as their favourite idol shared an update on social media. While away from his fans due to military enlistment, Kim Taehyung aka V shared pictures on his Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of his current condition.  

BTS member V shares photos 

Taking to his Instagram story, V shared a collage of pictures featuring him with his military colleagues. Taehyung can be seen posing in the military uniform standing against a wall. Along with the picture, V wrote, “current situation.” It wasn’t the only treat. Fans also got a glimpse of Taehyung’s beloved dog Yeontan. He captioned Yeontan’s picture, “His current state.” 

Netizens react to V’s pictures 

Delighted to see the BTS star and his pet, fans took to social media to express their excitement. Within hours of V sharing the pictures, Kim Taehyung and ‘Yeontan is here’ were trending on X along with ‘Taehyung come home’. Fans shared V’s pictures and showered praises on the BTS star. 

V’s current activities 

Kim Taehyung is currently performing his mandatory military service. The singer has  been in the headlines for his latest release ‘FRI(END)S’. He also featured in the music video of IU’s ‘Love Wins’. The BTS star enlisted in the military in December 2023 and will be discharged in June 2025. 

When will BTS reunite? 

All seven members of BTS - RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkoo - are expected to reunite in 2025 after each member completes their mandatory military service. The group has also hinted at a possible world tour post their comeback.
