Kim Taehyung aka V of BTS has left his ARMY completely speechless. The singer was spotted at the 2024 Veteran Cultural Festival in Chuncheon as he was deployed on patrolling duty at the event. A video of V from backstage has gone viral and fans cannot stop gushing over him.
The BTS star has been away for a while since he enlisted in the military. While fans are counting days and missing their favourite idols, the video of V has left them wanting more. The idol of idols donned the SDT uniform which went perfect with his current buffed physique. Several ARMYs could not help but notice V’s hard work in building his current physique which was also mentioned by the singer himself.
In the viral video, V is seen interacting with Lee Ji Young of Big Mama. The BTS singer can be seen approaching the singer and introducing himself. He can be heard saying, “I am V of BTS,” before adding “We’re on a military policy patrol right now.” Ji Young responded cheerfully and praised the ‘Rainy Day’ singer. She said, “You’re so cool, you look even cooler in your uniform.” V shook hands and saluted her before returning to his duties.
The viral video which surfaced on June 9 on social media led to a fan frenzy. BTS ARMY gushed over V’s latest look and also expressed a sense of pride. Many fans applauded the K-pop idol for being humble and for the way he spoke to his senior K-pop idol while a lot of them expressed how handsome he looked in the video.
V is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service as a soldier after getting enlisted in December 2023. The SDT is a specialist military police unit that is in charge of special operations, VIP protection, mobile strikes in metropolitan areas, anti-terrorism operations, and the initial response to violent crimes.
On the work front, Kim Taehyung released solo album ‘Layover’ in September 2023 before enlisting in military. He also featured in IU’s music video ‘Love Wins All’ and released his new single ‘FRI(END)S’ along with a music video in March, 2024.
