National Film Awards 2023: Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt and others receive honour from President Murmu

The National Film Awards 2023 ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi on October 17, President Droupadi Murmu conferred the awards to the winners including Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt, and Kriti Sanon.

Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the award for Best Actress for their films, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Mimi’ respectively.

R Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ won the award for Best Feature Film, while SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ won in the Best Popular Film: Providing Wholesome Entertainment category.

Pankaj Tripathi and Pallavi Joshi won the national award for best supporting actor for their films ‘Mimi’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’ respectively.

Waheeda Rehman has been conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her stellar contribution to Indian Cinema.
