Another video of the duo greeting star couple Ranbir and Alia after the ceremony is also being widely shared online.

Kriti and Alia, who share the National Award for Best Actress, also posed for a picture with veteran actor Waheeda Rehman and Pallavi Joshi.

At the event, director SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ won multiple National Awards, actor Pankaj Tripathi bagged the Best Supporting Actor award, actor-director Rakshit Shetty’s ‘777 Charlie’ won the Best Feature Film in Kannada.

Ahead of the ceremony, Allu Arjun said, ‘I am extremely happy that I am receiving this award. It’s a double achievement for me to receive it for a commercial film’.

On the red carpet of the National Film Awards, Kriti Sanon said, ‘To win a National Award within the first decade (of your career) is a very big thing. I am really fortunate and blessed that I got an opportunity like Mimi. Sometimes you do not get to play such a layered character easily. I am really blessed and fortunate that my director and producer felt that I could do it. Just feeling very elated today. I definitely knew Mimi is going to be a special film. I was very passionate about this one. When we were filming Mimi, Laxman Utekar used to tell me, ‘You will win a National Award for this’.’

Post the ceremony, celebrities created an unforgettable experience for their numerous fans outside by taking photos together, many of which have already gone viral on social media.
