Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas has shared an update about her partnership with Victoria’s Secret as an ambassador towards gender equality and upliftment of women.
The actor in an Instagram post mentioned that she’s thrilled to partner with the brand as they continue their journey towards gender equality and amplifying voices within the VS20 communities with the Victoria’s Secret Impact Fund. She further mentioned: I’m honored to serve as an ambassador for this vital cause and spotlight the incredible organizations we’re working with to invest in women and communities on a global scale.
The 'Dil Dhadakne Do' star also mentioned other organizations which have come along for the noble journey. The organizations include Promujer which is dedicated to providing Latin American women with access to crucial health and financial services, Smart Works is a charity organisation which has been empowering unemployed women in the UK through coaching and professional attire, and lastly Pee Cee mentioned their partner Arte Sumapaz that helped in establishing a year-long fellowship for Colombian women creatives, and more.
For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is actively involved in promoting education for underprivileged children, particularly girls, through various initiatives and partnerships. Additionally, Chopra has been a vocal advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment, supporting organizations and campaigns aimed at improving opportunities and rights for women globally.
She served as a National Ambassador to UNICEF India for ten years before joining the global Goodwill Ambassador team in December 2016.
Priyanka is involved in a number of efforts to protect children’s rights and promote the education of girls in India, including through her namesake charity, The Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education, and as a United Nations Foundation Girl Up Champion.
