Priyanka Chopra reviews Guneet Monga's 'The Elephant Whisperers'; filmmaker says she is 'over the moon'

Global star Priyanka Chopra reviewed filmmaker Guneet Monga's Oscar-nominated documentary short 'The Elephant Whisperers' on Instagram Stories on Tuesday. Sharing a poster of the film, she wrote that it's a 'trunk-filled with emotions'. Calling it one of the most heartwarming documentaries, Priyanka gave a huge shoutout to director Kartik Gonsavles and producer Guneet Monga for bringing the amazing story to life.

Guneet reshared the post on Instagram Stories to thank Priyanka and mentioned that she's 'over the moon'.

She wrote, 'Thank you @priyankachopra. You are the best (red heart and elephant emojis). We are over the moon @priyankachopra. We love you so so much.'

The Elephant Whisperers’, directed by Karik Gonsalves, earned a nomination at the 95th Academy Awards in the Best Documentary Short Film category. The documentary short film follows a family in the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu who adopt two orphan baby elephants.

'The Elephant Whisperers' will compete against 'Haul Out', 'How Do You Measure A Year', 'The Martha Mitchell Effect', and 'Stranger At The Gate'. 

The 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 13 (IST). The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
