Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Adipurush' is now in theatres and poor reviews of the film have been pouring in on social media.

Several people have slammed the makers for hurting religious sentiments via cringe dialogues and poor VFX.

Now, Arun Govil, who played Ram in Ramayana, has shared his views on the movie.

In an interview with ABP news, he said that he hasn't watched the movie yet but he doesn't support the kind of language used in the film. He said Ramayana is a matter of faith for us and to tamper with its form in any way is unacceptable.

Highlighting the importance of presenting characters accurately, he said 'it is not done' to turn Ramayana into a 'Hollywood ki cartoon film'.

Arun added that perhaps the team doesn't have proper faith in Lord Ram and Sita that's why they made these changes.
