Actor Salman Khan has allegedly received a threat mail from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. As per the news agency PTI,  taking action on a case registered, the police has imposed restrictions on 'Sultan' actors fans, who will not be allowed to gather outside the actor’s home (Galaxy apartment) due to security reasons. In addition, two assistant police inspectors (API)-rank officers and 8-10 constables will be in charge of the actor’s round-the-clock security detail.

On Saturday, a case had been registered at Bandra police station under IPC sections 506(2),120(b) & 34 against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and another person for allegedly issuing threats to the actor.

Quoting the FIR, an official said that when complainant Prashant Gunjalkar, who runs an artist management company, was present in Khan's office in Galaxy Apartment on Saturday afternoon, he noticed an email had come from the ID 'Rohit Garg'.

In the e-mail, written in Hindi, it was mentioned that Salman Khan must have seen the interview given recently to a news channel by Lawrence Bishnoi, and if not, he should see it. Addressing Gunjalkar, it said if Khan wants to close the matter, he should talk face-to-face with Goldy bhai, as per the FIR.

Bishnoi, currently lodged in a Bathinda jail, and Goldy Brar are accused in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's murder case.

In June 2022, an unidentified person had threatened Salman Khan via a handwritten note.
