Allu Arjun honoured at India Day parade in New York, performs iconic move from 'Pushpa' with Mayor

Allu Arjun recently represented the nation at the India Day parade in New York, which is one of the most well-known annual events organized by the Indian diaspora in the US. The actor, who was honoured as Grand Marshal by the New York Mayor Eric Adams at the event, took to social media to share the pictures and wrote, ‘It was a pleasure meeting the Mayor of New York City . Very Sportive Gentleman. Thank You for the Honours Mr. Eric Adams . Thaggede Le ! @ericadamsfornyc.’

In the pictures, we can see Allu Arjun being facilitated with a certificate as he stands next to NYC Mayor and other dignitaries. We also get a glimpse of the actor teaching the mayor his signature ‘Main Jhukega Nahi’ move from his film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. 

Soon after the pictures were shared, fans poured in love for the actor in the comment section by dropping heart and fire emoticons.

Earlier on Sunday, Allu shared a sneak peek of India Day parade on Instagram. He was also joined by his wife Sneha Reddy. Sharing a video of himself waving the national flag, Allu wrote, ‘It was an honour being the grand marshal at the India Day parade in New York.’

On the work front, Allu Arjun has started shooting for director Sukumar's ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
