Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ makes Rs 800 crore in pre-release business

‘Pushpa: The Rule’ starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is set to hit the theatres on December 5, 2024. The film directed by Sukumar is among one of the most anticipated films of this year. There has been a significant buzz around the film despite the release date being delayed earlier. 

‘Pushpa: The Rule’ had hit a historic record with its pre-release business. The Allu Arjun starrer has reportedly secured Rs 825 crore through pre-release deals. According to Pinkvilla, the makers have sold the Andhra Pradesh rights of the film for Rs 110 crore, the North India rights are sold for Rs 150 crore, overseas rights for Rs 100 crore and non-theatrical rights for Rs 400 crore.  

Besides, the makers have opted for a self-release in Nizam. The film has been reportedly made on a budget of Rs 150 crore and is aiming to comfortable enter the Rs 1000 crore club.  
The team of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ and Allu Arjun took to social media to share the new release date of the film along with a new poster on October 24. The film was earlier scheduled to release on December 6.  

The makers have already released two songs including the title track of the film. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ also features Fahadh Faasil, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari in significant roles.
