‘Kalki 2898 AD’ storm is taking over everyone and the film has added another celeb to its fanclub. Atlee Kumar seems to have found time to watch ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and the ‘Jawan’ director has nothing but praise for Nag Ashwin directorial. Taking to his Instagram, Atlee penned a long note detailing all the aspects that he loved in the film.
An overwhelmed and excited Atlee took to his Instagram stories to share his review. Praising director Nag Ashwin’s vision, Atlee wrote, “Kalki was absolutely blown away by Nag Aswhin’s incredible filmmaking and the high quality of the film. Hatts off to you, brother!”
Atlee went on to praise film’s star cast including Prabhas, Deepika, Big B and Kamal Haasan. “@actorprabhas sir your performance was amazing! @deepikapadukone mam I’m your biggest fan, your work was so good! @amitabhbachchan sir, you were at a god level in this film,” he wrote. The ‘Jawan’ director dedicated a separate post to Kamal Haasan. With his poster, Atlee wrote, “@ikamalhaasan sir, you were lethal in Kalki. Love you, sir.
If reports are true, Atlee is planning something beyond imagination and expectation. The visionary director is reportedly in talks to bring together Salman Khan and South superstar Rajinikanth together in a film. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the reports suggest that Atlee will be meeting the actors soon to take forward his plans.
Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone, set new records. Film's worldwide collection has now surpassed Rs 635 crore. The Nag Ashwin-directorial has earned ₹343.6 crore net at the domestic box office during its five-day run and is touted as one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. Its production budget totals over ₹600 crore, or US$75 million.
