The shooting for Koratala Siva’s ‘Devara: Part 1’, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is currently underway in Goa. A fan-captured video from the sets, taken from a distance, has been leaked online.

The video, which shows Jr NTR shooting outdoors in Goa, has been captioned ‘all hail the tiger,’ referring to his moniker.

The leaked video shows the actor shooting a scene for the film while wading through water, dressed in all-black attire. Captured from a distance, the video confirms that most of the film will have a coastal setting, as the promotional posters and glimpses have hinted.

On March 22 morning, a photo surfaced online, shared by PR VamsiShekar, captioned ‘Making waves in Goa!!’. The picture features Jr NTR, director Koratala Siva, and renowned dance choreographer Raju Sundaram at the beach.

Some of the key scenes of ‘Devara: Part 1’ are being shot in Goa. The makers plan to shoot a song on location there. Filming for the movie has taken place on custom-built sets in Hyderabad and Goa since 2023. While most scenes were filmed by December, some crucial scenes and songs remain. ‘Devara’ will mark Janhvi and Saif's Telugu cinema debut. Janhvi has also signed on for Ram Charan's next film with Buchi Babu Sana.

In ‘Devara,’ Jr NTR will portray the titular character, Saif will star as Bhaira, and Janhvi as Thangam. The ensemble cast also includes Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Insane Ashraf, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, Abhimanyu Singh, and Shruti Marathe. The first part is set to release in October this year, followed by the second part. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music, R Rathnavelu will handle the cinematography, and A Sreekar Prasad will edit the film.
