Actor Fahadh Faasil, who is currently basking in the success of 'Aavesham', shared his recent attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder diagnosis at an event in Kothamangalam, Kerala. He spoke at an event at the Peace Valley Children's Village, suggesting his ADHD diagnosis is recent. He discussed a conversation with a doctor about ADHD.
Starting his address with 'Eda Mone,' reminiscent of his role in 'Aavesham' as Ranga, Fahadh shared an anecdote about asking a doctor at the children's village about the ease of curing ADHD.
‘He told me it can be easily cured if it is diagnosed at a young age. I asked whether it can be cured if it is diagnosed at the age of 41. I am clinically ADHD diagnosed,’ explained Fahadh.
Fahadh Faasil, who turned 41 on August 8, 2023, opened up about his ADHD diagnosis, which concerned his fans.
ADHD, a neurodevelopmental disorder, affects attention, behaviour, and impulse control, common in children but also impacting adults.
Fahadh recently starred in Jithu Madhavan's 'Aavesham'. The film grossed over Rs 100 crore worldwide and is receiving positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film premiered on Prime Video after its theatrical release on April 11.
Fahadh recently completed filming for Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan', set to release in October 2024. He will next appear in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa: The Rule', releasing on August 15.
The actor has also collaborated with director Jeethu Joseph of 'Drishyam' fame and has a Tamil film, 'Maareesan', in the works.
