Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Game Changer’ is generating significant buzz with its poster and songs. Fans have been excitedly waiting for Telugu power star’s next film. Directed by Shankar, the film was set to release on Dussehra but the makers have now announced a new release date.

‘Game Changer’ postponed to December?

RRR star Ram Charan’s next big-budget film has been postponed due to a production delay. The film will now hit the theatres during Christmas season. Producer Dil Raju made the announcement about the film’s new release date at the pre-release event of Dhanush’s ‘Raayan’ in Hyderabad on July 21. The ‘Game Changer’ producer attended the event as a guest. The audience screamed ‘Game Changer’ to which Dil Raju smiled and said, ‘Let’s meet during Christmas’.

‘Game Changer’: Reasons for delay

According to reports, mega star Ram Charan has wrapped up the shooting of ‘Game Changer’ in July, however, a few scenes with the other cast members remain pending. ‘Game Changer’ director Shankar has been busy with Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’, leading to this delay. He is now back to focus on Ram Charan’s next and is expected to wrap up the shoot in coming weeks.

If the film is released on Christmas, it will see a clash with Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’. Much anticipated Hollywood film ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ will also be released on the same date.
