Megastar Jr NTR is back from Japan where he was on vacation with his family. He arrived home late Monday night following a series of deadly earthquakes in Japan.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, Jr NTR was seen arriving at the Hyderabad airport from Japan. He was accompanied by his wife, Lakshmi Pranathi, and their two children – Abhay and Bhargav. The family celebrated Christmas and New Year in Japan.
After returning home, Jr NTR took to his X handle and expressed condolences to those who lost their loved ones in Japan’s earthquake.
‘Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan,’ he wrote.

Jr NTR will soon be seen in ‘Devara’. The actor took to social media to share the first glimpse of the forthcoming movie on January 1.
‘Can’t wait for you all to experience the glimpse of #Devara on Jan 8th,’ Jr NTR wrote.
Set against the coastal lands, the film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in South films and her first-ever collaboration with Jr NTR.
This movie, helmed by Koratala Siva, will reportedly have high-octane action sequences that are expected to blow away the minds of the audience.
‘Devara’ is reportedly being made on a huge budget with a whopping Rs 140 crore being spent on its VFX.
According to reports, the makers are also spending 33 per cent of the movie’s original budget on special effects.
‘Devara’ marks Jr NTR’s 30th film in which the actor will reportedly be portraying both, father and son on screen. The movie will also star other actors like Saif Ali Khan and Ramya Krishna. There are reports that actress Chaitra Rai will be joining the star cast. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
‘Devara’ is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. It will hit theatres on April 5, 2024.
