‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Rana Daggubati calls Prabhas starrer India’s ‘Avengers moment’

Even as the audience is waiting with bated breath, Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has found a big cheerleader in Telugu star Rana Daggubati. The actor praised the film and expressed excitement for it in a YouTube podcast.  

Rana Daggubati on ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ 

Popularly known for his portrayal of ‘Bhalladeva’, Rana Daggubati has supported his ‘Baahubali’ co-star Prabhas’ upcoming film. In a podcast with Vamshi Kurapati, Rana was all praise for the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He said, “The next big moment is Kalki. Nag Ashwin is a very dear friend. Not just India and the Indian diaspora but everyone in the world will connect to Kalki. For a long time, I have been waiting for an Avengers moment from our side. That’s what has excited me to be part of it.” 

Earlier, the Telugu actor also accompanied the team of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ to the San Diego Comic-Con. Daggubati was last seen in action thriller ‘Spy’ and is gearing up for the release of his next film ‘Vettaiyan’ where he will share the screen with Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and others.

'Kalki 2898 AD', starring Prabhas in the lead role, recently new release date. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is set to win over audiences worldwide on June 27, 2024. It was earlier scheduled to be released on May 9.

With the biggest casting coup, including the stalwarts of the Indian film industry such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles, the film has garnered immense attention and kept fans eagerly awaiting its release. Backed by Aswini Dutt, 'Kalki 2898 AD' will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
