The wait is over. Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic is in theatres and neither fans nor the internet can keep calm. Social media platforms have been buzzing with reviews and reactions of the movie-goers. The multi-starrer mythological thriller is receiving great reviews, especially for its stunning visuals.
Touted to be one of the biggest films of the year, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has received rave reviews on X. Several users who were watching or have watched the film took to their respective handles to share their review. Some fans declared the film, a visual masterpiece while some were floored by the blend of mythology and futuristic storyline. Prabhas’ entry and action sequences with Amitabh Bachchan were also the highlights of several reviews. Film’s second half is receiving a lot of praises besides several star cameos.

The film sold over two million tickets for over 23,562 shows across India. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ also marked the highest advance ticket sales in 2024 in Hindi language. It also beat RRR to score biggest premiere for an Indian film in North America as per industry tracker Sacnilk.com.
Besides Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, the film also features cameos of several big actors. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the mythological sci-fi drama is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and has been released in the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English languages.
