'KGF' actor Krishna G Rao passes away at 70; team pays tribute

Actor Krishna Rao, who appeared in an important role in Yash starrer 'KGF' died at the age of 70. Krishna had been ill for a long time and was admitted to Vinayak Hospital in Bengaluru for treatment but later succumbed to the illness.

KGF team took to Twitter and paid their tribute to the actor. Posting the photo of the actor the team wrote 'Condolences from Hombale film team on the death of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Tata by KGF fans. Om Shanti'

He played the role of a blind person who appears before the fight scene where the protagonist crushes the villains of Narachi in K.G.F: Chapter 1.

Although Krishna had been working in the industry for several years, it was 'KGF' that got him nationwide fame. He had played many supporting roles prior to KGF and reportedly also worked as an assistant director with Shankar Nag.
