KPAC Lalitha dies at 74, Prithviraj Sukumaran & Keerthy Suresh mourn her demise

Legendary Malayalam actor KPAC Lalitha, who was recently hospitalised due to ill-health and was later brought to her son’s house in Kochi, breathed her last on Tuesday night.

The news of the 74-year-old demise came as a shock to the entire South industry. Numerous celebrities took to their social media to convey their heartfelt condolences and emotional tributes.

Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran took to Twitter to share a photo of the late actor. Calling her one of the finest actors, he mentioned how he had the privilege to work with her. 

Actor Keerthy Suresh shared a picture of the late actor on Twitter and wrote, 'extremely saddened to hear about the passing of the legendary KPAC Lalitha aunty'.

Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram handle and shared a few moments he spent with actor Lalitha. He also penned an emotional note to bid her goodbye and said she was his best on-screen pair. The actor wrote, 'My best on screen pairing. The most love I’ve felt for a co-actor'.

Radikaa Sarathkumar wrote ‘lovely actor and a wonderful person, sad to hear she is no more’. 

Actors Mohanlal and Manju Warrier also wrote an emotional post for the legendary actor in Malayalam and paid their condolences.
