Malayalam actor Kundara Johny died at a private hospital in Kollam on October 17.
He was 71.
Johny reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest, after which he was admitted to a hospital.
More details regarding his funeral are still awaited.
Kundara Johny’s fans have been offering condolences on social media.
Kundara Johny’s last film was 'Meppadiyan', which was released in 2022.
Kundara Johny was one of the famous artists who rose to fame by playing antagonist roles in Malayalam cinema.

Kundara Johny began his career in Malayalam cinema with several uncredited roles. He made his debut in his 20s in 1979.
His roles in 'Agniparvatham' and 'Nithya Vasantham', 'Rajavinte Makan' and 'Aavanazhi' won him recognition.
However, it was his antagonist roles that gained him massive recognition.
He played the role of Nambiar in 'Nadodikkattu' which still remains iconic.
He was also part of 'Oru CBI Diary Kurippu', 'Kireedam', 'Chenkol' and 'Spadikam', among others.
