Nayanthara and Vignesh squash divorce rumours, share pictures of trip with children

After many reports suggested that all is not well in their marriage, actor Nayanthara and her husband filmmaker Vignesh Shivan have shut down separation rumours. The couple have shared glimpses of their recent trip with their children, ending all the speculations.

The lady superstar took to Instagram and posted some sneak peek from her recent trip with her family. In one of the pictures, Nayanthara and Vignesh were seen sitting next to each other with their sons Uyir and Ulgham in their arms. The couple was brimming with joy as they posed for the picture. The celeb couple twinned in comfy black outfits for their travel. Nayanthara wrote in the caption, “@wikkiofficial Travelling with my boys. After sooo long.” Filmmaker Vignesh also reposted the pictures on his Instagram handle.  

Nayanthara with her family reportedly travelled to Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix as also suggested by the other pictures shared by Vignesh on Instagram.  

How did the rumours start? 

There were reports suggesting that there is trouble in Nayanthara’s paradise after some fans highlighted that she has unfollowed her husband on Instagram. A screenshot that showed Vignesh missing from the list of people Nayanthara follows went viral, fuelling the rumours. Even though the reason behind Nayanthara unfollowing her husband is not known, the actor soon followed her husband.  

Nayanthara and Vignesh’s relationship 

Actor Nayanthara and Vignesh got married in 2022 in an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple welcomed their sons in the same year via surrogacy.  

Nayanthara was last seen in ‘Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food’ and before that in blockbuster ‘Jawan’ which also turned out to be one of the highest grossing films of 2023.
