Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is one of the most awaited films of 2024. On the megastar’s birthday, the makers of the film unveiled the movie’s teaser which shows Allu Arjun reprising his role as Pushpa Raj, but with a new twist that is sure to excite fans.
The actor left no stone unturned to ensure an unforgettable cinematic experience.
Sharing the teaser, Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude for the birthday wishes and wrote, ‘Thank you all for the birthday wishes! My heart is full of gratitude. Please accept this teaser as my token of appreciation!’
Alongside Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna returns in Pushpa 2 as Srivalli, set to ignite the screen with her chemistry with Allu Arjun once again. Fahadh Faasil reprises his role as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
The final phase of ‘Pushpa 2's shooting is currently in progress. Allu Arjun had previously shared his first-look poster for ‘Pushpa 2’, showcasing him in a saree with his face adorned in blue and red hues. Fahadh Faasil's look poster from the film was also unveiled later. Recently, on Rashmika's birthday, the makers revealed her first look from the movie. There are reports which suggest that Sanjay Dutt will be making a special appearance in Pushpa 2, although no official confirmation has been provided yet.
In a recent interview, Rashmika discussed the film, assuring fans that the Sukumar-directed sequel will be ‘bigger than ever before.’ She disclosed that the shoot has been ongoing for 50 days, emphasizing the team's dedication to the project.
‘It’s been going great. We are almost 50-plus days into the film, and there’s a lot more to do, but as I always keep promising my audience that it’s going to be bigger than ever before. There’s a lot of hard work put in and a lot of focus on the detailing taken care of. There’s a lot of focus on each character that’s being taken care of, and that’s amazing!’ Rashmika said as quoted by Hindustan Times.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.
