Collected Rs 50 crore on its opening day

Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise collected Rs 50 crore worldwide on its opening day. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa follows the story of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler. The Telugu action thriller was released in India on December 17.

Biggest earner of 2021

The film has managed to garner Rs 300 crore globally and is doing exceptionally across the countries. It has beaten Sooryavanshi by entering the 300 crore club in just 16 days!

With a whopping success at the box office, Pushpa: The Rise has emerged as the highest grosser of the year among the films released in the country in 2021.

Overtook 83 at Hindi box office by beating 83

Pushpa: The Rise is in no mood to slow down. The Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise has managed to surpass Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 at the box office. The film has earned Rs 65 crore at the Indian box office.

According to reports, the third Monday collection of Pushpa’s Hindi version was approximately Rs. 2.60 Cr while the second Monday collection of 83 was approximately Rs. 1.80 Cr.

Allu Arjun enters the 300 crore club

Allu Arjun has now entered the 300 crore club in the South for the first time and the credit goes to the worldwide success received by Pushpa: The Rise. Did you know that this spot was until now only occupied by three others – Rajnikanth, Prabhas, and Thalapathy Vijay?

1st South Indian film to gross $2 mn in the US 

After giving an exemplary performance in India, Pushpa: The Rise has become the first South Indian film of 2021 to hit the $2M mark in the USA. The film hit the $2 million mark in just seven days.
