Superstar Rajinikanth has received UAE's golden visa by the Department of Culture and Tourism. The veteran actor expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking the Abu Dhabi government and ‘good friend’ Yusuff Ali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, for their support.
In a now-viral video, Rajinikanth said, ‘I am deeply honoured to receive the prestigious UAE Golden visa from the Abu Dhabi government. My heartfelt thanks to the Abu Dhabi government, and also to my good friend Mr Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for facilitating this visa and for all the support.’
While in the UAE recently, the actor met with MA Yusuff Ali, the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, along with other top executives. The superstar and the businessman were seen sharing a ride in a Rolls Royce.
Fans are now speculating about a potential collaboration between the superstar and the owner of Lulu Group.
Rajinikanth has recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film ‘Vettaiyan,’ directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions. The film features a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan in prominent roles. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Earlier this month, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were seen filming scenes together. Amitabh shared photos of their reunion on his Instagram, expressing his honour and privilege to work with Rajinikanth again, praising his humility despite his immense fame.
Lyca Productions also shared photos of the two legendary actors on their official handles, describing them as ‘The Titans of Indian Cinema’ and highlighting their charisma on the sets of ‘Vettaiyan’ in Mumbai. The images show Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan in stylish black formals, exchanging hugs and engaged in serious conversations, eliciting a positive response from fans who flooded the comments with heart emojis.
