‘Salaar’ X review: Fans call film a ‘blockbuster’; laud Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s performance

Prashanth Neel’s much-anticipated film ‘Salaar’, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is finally in theatres. Fans celebrated its release by bursting crackers, throwing confetti, and dancing to Prabhas’ hit songs. 

Following the first show, fans shared their opinions on X. While some hailed it as a 'blockbuster’, others felt slightly let down by the Prashant Neel directorial.

A user called ‘Salaar’ a winner and praised the performance of the lead actors.

Another user called Prabhas the backbone of the movie. ‘And one thing of #Salaar is best is Storyline and emotional scenes, #PrithvirajSukumaran is steel the show, but the Rebel Star #Prabhas is the back bone of this movie, you're shock , you're scared and his screen present is literally amazing and Goosebump,’ he wrote. 

A user called the movie a ‘disaster’ and wrote it has cringe action with poor acting.

Another user said the movie is not a ceasefire, but a misfire.

The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, also features Shruti Haasan in the lead role.

‘Salaar’ has minted Rs 48.94 crore for the first day in advance booking, as per a report on Sacnilk. In terms of the highest opening day advance booking (gross) for this year, ‘Salaar’ is on the top spot followed by ‘Leo’, ‘Jawan’, ‘Animal’, and ‘Pathaan’.

This film marks the first collaboration between KGF director Neel and Baahubali star Prabhas.
