Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been roped in for a cameo in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam super hit film ‘Lucifer’. The film, directed by Mohan Raja stars Chiranjeevi in the lead role.
Salman will be reprising the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran's character in the Telugu remake while Chiranjeevi will be essaying the role of Mohanlal from the original.

Welcoming Salman Khan, Chiranjeevi shared a picture from the sets with the caption, “Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan! Your entry has energized everyone & the excitement has gone to the next level. Sharing a screen with you is an absolute joy. Your presence will no doubt give that magical #KICK to the audience.”
As per a report in Pinkvilla, its being reported that even though the makers of Godfather were keen to pay a handsome amount to Salman, the actor said he was doing the film mainly due to his love and respect for Chiranjeevi. And that’s why he won’t be charging any money for the same.
While the film’s cinematography is being handled by Nirav Shah, the film’s music is being composed by S.Thaman. Besides Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, 'Godfather' also stars Nayanthara and Satya Dev.
