Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been making headlines ever since she opened up about her myositis diagnosis. On Monday, the actor’s pictures from the ‘Shaakuntalam’ trailer launch event went viral on social media, and a popular Twitter page shared them with a sympathy post claiming that Samantha has 'lost all her charm and glow'.

‘Feeling sad for Samantha. She lost all her charm and glow. When everyone thought she came out of divorce strongly and her professional life is seeing heights, myositis hit her badly, making her weak again (sic),’ read the controversial Twitter post featuring the latest photos of Samantha that were taken during the event.

The insensitive post irked a large group of netizens as well as Samantha. However, she chose not to lose her cool and responded to the remark with kind words. ‘I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did .. And here’s some love from me to add to your glow,’ she wrote.

The trailer of her upcoming film 'Shaakuntalam' was launched today in Hyderabad. Samantha is overwhelmed with the great response towards it and she took to her official Instagram handle and shared a 'thank you' note for her fans and followers.

The Gunasekhar directorial is slated to hit the theatres in February 2023.
