Superstar Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara falls prey to cyber-crime, actor’s team issues warning

Actor Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni has become victim of a cyber-crime after her fake account surfaced on Instagram. According to an official statement of actor’s team, an unknown person created Sitara’s fake account and sent trading and investment links to people, posing as her. An investigation is currently underway in the matter to apprehend the culprit behind the fake account.  

Official statement of Mahesh Babu’s team 

Mahesh Babu’s team has released a detailed statement in the matter. The statement read, “The Madhapur police, in connection with Team GMB, have issued a warning about a cybercrime incident involving the impersonation of Ms Sitara Ghattamaneni on Instagram. An unidentified user has been fraudulently posing as Ms. Ghattamaneni, sending trading and investment links to unsuspecting users. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the individual responsible for these activities to prevent future occurrences." 

Namrata Shirodkar on daughter’s fake account 

Sharing details about the cyber-crime incident, Mahesh Babu’s wife took to Instagram and warned users about the fake account. Namrata Shirodkar reposted the post shared by Mahesh Babu’s team and wrote, “Attention! This is @sitaraghattamaneni's only account. Any other handle is not to be trusted except the verified one.” 

Sitara Ghattamaneni wishes parents on anniversary 

In her latest Instagram post, Sitara wished her parents, who happened to celebrate their wedding anniversary today. Sitara shared a picture of herself with her parents and wrote, “Happy anniversary to the best parents in the world! Love you both so much!”
