Actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi tied the knot in Italy on November 1 in the presence of their family members and close friends.

Hours later, Varun took to social media to share their wedding pictures with fans. He simply captioned his post, ‘My Lav.’

Varun’s father, Nagendra Babu, has also shared pictures of the newlyweds. He wrote ‘Our blessings are earnestly sought for the newly married couple, Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Konidela.’

As soon as they shared the pictures, celebrities from across film industries dropped heartfelt wishes for the couple in the comment section.

Suniel Shetty wrote, ‘Godbless,’ along with a red heart emoticon. Athlete PV Sindhu wrote, ‘Congratulations you two.’ Lakshmi Manchu said, ‘Congratsssssss.’

For the special day, Varun donned a cream-gold sherwani, while Lavanya wore a beautiful Kanchipuram saree. The couple’s wedding ensembles were designed by Manish Malhotra.

Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Allu Sirish and Vaishnav Tej, among others were part of the wedding.

Varun is Chiranjeevi’s nephew and the cousin of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun.
Chiranjeevi congratulated the couple on X and wrote, ‘And thus they embarked together on a new love filled journey. Starry Wishes for the Newest Star Couple.’

According to reports, the couple plans to hold receptions in India, one in Hyderabad and the other in Dehradun.

How Varun and Lavanya met

Varun and Lavanya first met during the filming of the Telugu movie ‘Mister’ in 2017 and have since become a beloved couple in the industry.

Varun Tej made his acting debut in 2014 with the movie ‘Mukunda’. He rose to fame with ‘Fidaa’ and then went on to act in ‘Kanche’, ‘Loafer’, ‘F3: Fun and Frustration’, and many more.

Lavanya is known for her work in Telugu as well as Tamil cinema. She worked in movies like ‘Doosukeltha’, Tamil films ‘Bramman’, and ‘Happy Birthday’.
