Rumours are rife that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are all set to tie the knot in the month of February. Vijay has addressed the rumours regarding his wedding in an interview with Lifestyle Asia.
Vijay was asked if he was tying knot or getting engaged to Rashmika, the actor replied, “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”
Vijay also talked about his films like ‘Liger’ and ‘Puri Jagannadh’ not working well at the box office. He said, “It was a script I liked, a director I was very keen to work with and I gave it my everything.” He added, “In hindsight, there could have been things that could have been better about it but there’s nothing that I can change, and I don’t even think about changing it. It was a part of my life; I gave a few years to it, and I moved on.”
Vijay and Rashmika have always denied being in a relationship and maintained that they are ‘just friends.’ They have shared screen in two films ‘Geetha Govindam’ (2018) and ‘Dear Comrade’ (2019).
