Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' is having a dream run at the box office as the action-packed film has grossed over ₹300 crore worldwide in just 10 days of its release. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, it is Kollywood's fourth film to do so, the other three being '2point0,' 'Kabali' and 'Enthiran.' He further added that 'Vikram' is Kamal Haasan's first film to earn ₹300 crore.
The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya in pivotal roles.
To celebrate the film's success, superstar Chiranjeevi recently hosted a dinner for Kamal and Lokesh at his residence. Bollywood star Salman Khan was also present there. The pictures of them posing together quickly went viral on the Internet and garnered a lot of love from fans.
'Vikram' has been released in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. It sees Kamal Haasan reprising his role as a spy from the 1986 film of the same name.
