75th Emmy Awards Ceremony: ‘The Bear’, ‘Succession’ and ‘Beef’ notch multiple wins

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, honouring the best in American prime-time television programming, took place on January 16 (IST), in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony was being broadcast from the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California, after a delay of almost four months due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Jesse Armstrong's satirical comedy-drama series, ‘Succession,’ has clinched the title of Best Drama Series at the 75th Emmy Awards. Additionally, the show's Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook were honored as Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, respectively, in a Drama Series. ‘Succession’ garnered a total of six awards at the ceremony.

In the category of Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, Steven Yeun and Ali Wong secured the honors for their roles in the Netflix comedy-drama television miniseries, ‘Beef.’

Furthermore, the American comedy-drama series, ‘The Bear’ won Best Comedy Series at the ceremony, tying with ‘Succession’ by receiving six awards.
