It’s a relief for ‘Bigg Boss OTT: Season 2’ winner Elvish Yadav. After spending five days in jail, the YouTuber, who has been in the headlines for various reasons, has been granted bail by a court on Friday.
The YouTuber was arrested by the Noida Police on Sunday in connection with the suspected use of snake venoms as recreational drugs in parties. Elvish is accused of using snake venom drugs in the parties that he hosted, a charge that he had earlier denied.
Elvish Yadav’s lawyers informed that the court heard his bail application and granted the bail. He will have to furnish two bail bonds of ₹50,000 each. The Bigg Boss OTT fame YouTuber will however remain in jail till the legal formalities are done.
Elvish is lodged in the Luksar Jail in Greater Noida following his arrest on March 17. The YouTube, who has a huge social media following, was recently in the headlines after a video of him attacking another YouTuber surfaced on social media.
The 26-year-old Yadav has been booked under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the Wildlife Protection Act adn the Indian Penal Code.
