Popular TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary showed his real humanitarian side by helping a man who collapsed on the streets in Andheri.

In a video that is going viral, the actor is seen performing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on the man who fell unconscious. Gurmeet is seen pumping the man's heart and asking someone to rub the person's feet. Later, he called an ambulance and sent him to the hospital.

Gurmeet Choudhary accompanied the patient to the hospital to make sure that all required medical care was given before he left.

For the unversed, Gurmeet Choudhary also extended his helping hands to the needful during Covid-19 pandemic.

Gurmeet Choudhary rose to fame with 'Ramayan' in which he played the role of Shree Ram. Following that he was seen as Maan Singh Khurana in 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi'. He also featured in 'Punnar Vivah' opposite Kratika Sengar. He was a part of reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 5', 'Nach Baliye 6', and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 5'.

Gurmeet Choudhary made his Bollywood debut with the psychological thriller and horror, ‘Khamoshiyan’.

Gurmeet also appeared in music videos like Jubin Nautiyal’s ‘Pehli Baarish Mein’. This song, sung by Jubin Nautiyal and written by Gurpreet Saini and Gautam G Sharma, captures the season’s essence. The music video, directed by Video Brains and composed by Rochak Kohli, beautifully depicts the magic of love amidst rain-soaked surroundings.

The chemistry between Gurmeet Choudhary and Karishma Lala Sharma in the music video was widely appreciated by the audience.

Gurmeet Choudhary married actor Debina Bonnerjee in 2006. They are now parents to two daughters.
