After 18 years of playing host on 'Roadies', Rannvijay Singha has announced that he would be leaving the adventure show.

Rannvijay, who began his TV journey as a contestant on 'Roadies' Season 1, has been a host and then a mentor on the show.

There were speculations that his exit happened due to the takeover by a new production house, leading to a rift.

However, Rannvijay has said that there were no issues with the production house, and the channel has been a 'key pillar' of his journey.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Singh said, "I’ve done different shows with the network. Production house aur mera koi taal mel hai nahi (sic)."

The report also states that Sonu Sood will most likely be stepping into Rannvijay's shoes. However, there hasn't been any official confirmation from the actor yet.

The 19th season will reportedly be shot in South Africa and will go on floors on 14 February.
