Netflix has shared the trailer of Kapil Sharma’s special, I'm Not Done Yet and from the looks of it, the comedian seems to have kept his promise to portray his narrative in his own unique way.

On the show, the comedian pokes fun at himself, his love for drinking and tweets that created controversy, as well as his relationship with wife Ginny Chatrath in his self-deprecating stand-up act.

In the promo, the comedian tells everyone that his father told him about the house and his sister’s marriage but he didn’t tell him whom to settle down with. He said, I knew whom to settle down with. That was Ginni, my wife.’

He then asked Ginni, who’s sitting in the audience, ‘What made you fall in love with a scooter owner?’ Ginni's reply to Kapil made the audience laugh out loud.

Kapil also mentioned that he would often practise in front of the mirror saying, ‘I'm Not Done Yet’, which is incidentally the title of his stand-up. He said, ‘One day, Ginni threw a pillow at me and screamed ‘We had two babies in one and half years. What’s your plan?’

Kapil Sharma also addressed his controversial tweet to PM Narendra Modi and how OB vans gathered outside his house the next morning.

He said, "I thought they were fire brigade vans. I asked my cook, whether there had been a fire. He answered, ‘You caused one on Twitter!’ Kapil also said, ‘Not all the tweets were mine, some were from Jack Daniel… based on that, you can’t ‘black label’ some artistes, I mean blacklist."

Kapil had complained about the BMC in a 2016 tweet to the Prime Minister. The comedian had faced backlash for the tweet.

Kapil Sharma’s comedy special, 'I’m Not Done Yet' hits Netflix on January 28, 2022.
