Anirudh Pisharody, who is best known for his role in Netflix series ‘Never Have I Ever’, tied the knot with his college sweetheart, Jill V Dae, in a romantic ceremony held at Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano, a medieval lakeside castle in Rome.

The wedding, which was attended by family and their close friends, blended cultural traditions, featuring a Chinese tea ceremony, Indian kalyanam and Western ceremony.

For the special day, the bride wore a stunning Vera Wang gown, while Anirudh looked elegant in Dior attire.

Anirudh had proposed to Jill in Italy in July 2019.

Sharing her experience of her wedding day with Vogue, Jill said, ‘The sky was overcast during the Western ceremony in the garden. As we exchanged our vows and rings, a beam of sunlight shone down on us like a warm spotlight from a parting in the clouds.’

Anirudh, also recalled the magical moments and added, ‘A double rainbow appeared over Lake Bracciano just as guests entered the cocktail hour garden venue. So magical, so serendipitous.’

According to reports, Anirudh Pisharody and Jill V Dae provided their guests with welcome bags which were filled with exciting goodies.

The bags contained mini handheld electric fans to combat the European heat, Italian chocolates and biscuits, along with personalized bottles of olive oil and Italian limoncello.

Anirudh and Jill’s love story began at their college grocery store’s parking lot in November 2014.

During the summer of 2019, Anirudh Pisharody proposed to Jill V Dae at California's Hearst Castle, presenting a Tiffany & Co. diamond ring. Their mutual adoration for Italy inspired dreams of a wedding in Rome. Although initially planning to marry in 2020, their plans were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
