As fans wait for the last season of 'Strager Things', its creators have announced an animated version of the web series. Netflix has ordered a new animated series set in the same universe. According to reports, Duffer Brothers will executively produce the show under Upside Down Pictures banner.
‘We’ve always dreamed of an animated Stranger Things in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving, and to see this dream realized has been absolutely thrilling. We couldn’t be more blown away by what Eric Robles and his team have come up with — the scripts and artwork are incredible, and we can’t wait to share more with you! The adventure continues,’ Matt and Ross Duffer said while sharing the news.
The fifth and final season of the show is expected to release next year.
'Stranger Things' premiered on Netflix in 2016. It starred Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Noah Schnapp.
