'The Archies' inspired special flight organised for cast and fans

A special flight, UK 1964 was launched for the cast of ‘The Archies’ and its fans on Vistara's iconic Retrojet. It took off from Delhi airport at 2:40 pm and landed at Manohar International Airport, Goa at 5:15 pm on November 24.  

The special flight was organised to give passengers a glimpse into the world of Archies and fly them to Riverdale. The flight had retro-themed décor, specially curated meals and beverages. Some giveaways by Netflix and Vistara were also arranged for the lucky fans. Passengers also had the chance to interact with the film's cast, including Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Aditi Saigal, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda. 

Shilpa Singh, Senior Director, Marketing Partnerships - APAC, at Netflix said in a statement, "The Archies celebrates all things food, fashion and music from the 1960s. UK 1964, Vistara’s Retrojet ‘Flight to Riverdale’ is a unique and immersive experience curated to transport the passengers back in time, all while enjoying the company of the cast and crew. This special collaboration will carry the participants into the world of The Archies before it launches on Netflix." 

A lively flash mob, featuring the cast, a dance troupe, and the Vistara crew was also organised for a grand welcome of passengers. 

'The Archies' is scheduled to release on Netflix on December 7, 2023.
