'The Family Man 3': Manoj Bajpayee commences shooting for Raj & DK's web thriller, deets inside

Manoj Bajpayee has commenced filming for the third season of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K’s spy-thriller series 'The Family Man', streamer Amazon Prime Video announced on Instagram on Monday.  The upcoming part will see Bajpayee returning as Srikant Tiwari, a ‘middle-class guy and a world-class spy’. 

The Family Man 3 begins shooting! 

Prime Video on Monday announced that shooting for the third season of the highly anticipated series, 'The Family Man' has begun. Created under the banner of  D2R Films, the critically acclaimed series has garnered a massive fan following.  The much-awaited instalment of the action thriller series will also bring back original cast members, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, ­Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.

Prime Video shared a series of pictures from the set on its official Instagram page. "#TFM3W??? us: shoot begins. Drop your excitement. #TheFamilyManOnPrime @BajpayeeManoj @rajndk @sumank #PriyaMani @sharibhashmi @ashleshaat @VedantSinha0218," the platform captioned the post.

In the upcoming season, Srikant will expertly confront the looming threat to national security, while balancing the demands of family life and desperately working to mend his relationship with his wife Suchitra, played by Priyamani.  

"As Srikant races against time, the stakes escalate as he needs to outmanoeuvre a formidable adversary and protect his country and its sovereignty," the makers said in a release.

The first season of 'The Family Man' debuted on Prime Video in late 2019, while the second part premiered in 2021. The forthcoming season 3 is expected to be released in 2025.
