'The Royals': Netflix unveils star-studded cast for their upcoming series I Watch

Netflix announced the cast of the highly anticipated web series, 'The Royals.' 'The series will feature Bhumi Pednekar, Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi, Chunky Panday, Sakshi Tanwar, Dino Morea, and Milind Soman. The series will be directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana.

Bhumi and Ishaan are the lead pair in this eight-episode romantic comedy.

Fans have been buzzing with excitement and anticipation. One fan expressed, 'Finally, something which seems fresh!' Another fan reacted 'We are SAT.' However, not all reactions were positive, with one netizen commenting, 'Trying to make Desi Bridgerton?'

This comment seems to hit the mark, as the trailer revealed certain elements that draw comparisons to the popular period drama 'Bridgerton.'

Viewers have noticed several similarities between 'The Royals' and 'Bridgerton,' in terms of music and costume design. Additionally, the music of 'The Royals' mirrors the tunes of the 'Bridgerton' series. Fans are also excited to see the on-screen chemistry between Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter.
