Streaming platform Eros Now has issued an apology after its Navratri advertisement campaign faced backlash by a section of social media for being vulgur and offensive.

Soon after the #Boycott Eros Now started trending on social media, the Eros Now issued an apology in a statement for inadvertently hurting sentiments.

The company has also deleted the posts and wrote 'we love and respect our cultures equally'.
