Saturday evening's game between Denmark and Finland was temporarily stopped after Danish star Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field. His sudden collapse resulted in some frantic moments which saw the emergency medical staff perform CPR on the Inter Milan star. Eriksen's partner Sabrina Kvist Jensen was in the stands as she along with all the Danish supporters in Copenhagen watched in horror as the medical staff attended to the footballer. The team made a ring to protect the footballer from the cameras as he was carried off the field on a stretcher. UEFA, the governing body of European football confirmed that the 29-year-old footballer was stabilised. The football fans in the stadiums kept the morale up as the traveling Finnish supporters chanted 'Christian' followed by 'Eriksen' chants in tandem by the home Danish fans.
