The Three Lions have advanced into the European semifinals for the first time since 1996 and how!
Harry Kane led from the front as Gareth Southgate's men hammered Ukraine 4-0 on Saturday to set their date with Denmark in Euro 2020 semis. It was a tense first-half affair as both teams jousted to score after the star of the show, skipper Kane netted the opener for his side in the 4th minute. However, England ran riot in the second half, as Ukraine's resistance fell to pieces through the game.
As soon as the second half started Harry Maguire found England's 2nd goal, and 4 minutes later Kane too strengthened his side's play with his 2nd goal of the game. Jordan Henderson scored the last goal of the game in the 63rd minute as England registered the landmark victory after 25 years. The win is England's 7th consecutive clean sheet for the first time in their history.
