With theatres set to resume businesses from October 15, Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sooryavanshi' and Ranveer Singh starrer '83 will not take the Diwali bait this year.
Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Sibashish Sarkar who had announced that 'Sooryavanshi' will hit theatres on Diwali, has now revealed that the film will will not be releasing on the festival day.
Sarkar revealed that for his film's campaign to begin, he would need at least four weeks of promotion starting mid-October and for now it doesn't seem feasible.
However, the 'Sooryavanshi' makers are yet to take a call on the new release date of the Rohit Shetty-directorial, Kabir Khan's '83 will mostly be pushed to the first quarter of 2021.
