Farhan Akhtar mourns Milkha Singh: 'Can't accept you are gone'

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar, who portrayed the role of Mikha Singh in the 2013 National Award-winning film 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' paid an emotional tribute to the Flying Sikh.

Farhan shared a throwback photo with the sprint icon on his social media platforms to express his grief and wrote, “Dearest Milkha ji, a part of me is still refusing to accept that you are no more."

"You represented an idea. You represented a dream. You represented (to use your own words) how hard work, honesty and determination can lift a person off his knees and get him to touch the sky," Farhan further added.

Milkha Singh died on Friday night due to post Covid-19 related issues at a Chandigarh hospital.
