Sitting on a dharna for the first time against the farm laws, Punjab Chief Minister said his government would be moving the Supreme Court in spite of a go ahead by the President on the farm bills. Calling it the 'draconian' laws, CM Amarinder Singh slammed the Centre's farm bills and called them anti-national. Pointing out how the bread and butter of the farmers has been snatched away, the Punjab CM said it made it easy for organisations like ISI to put guns and grenades in the hands of these people who are furious. He accused the central government of snatching the rights of states. Captain went on to defend the actions of the Youth Congress for burning a tractor in front of the India Gate and asked why should it bother anyone if I burn my own tractor. The Chief Minister went on to emphasise the need for everyone to take the stand with the farmers and fight the central government together.
