Reaching almost four months into the protest against the three farm laws, farmer leaders have called for a Bharat Bandh on Friday.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has appealed to the citizens to make March 26 bandh a success as thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and other areas continue to protest at Delhi borders.

During the 12-hour bandh no road or rail traffic will be allowed to ply and all business establishments will be closed.

The bandh is being supported by various trade unions, 24 opposition parties including Congress and the NCP.
